Michael Caspani is a Managing Director and helps lead evaluation, execution, and portfolio management efforts for the firm’s debt and equity investments. Prior to joining BroadOak as a Vice President in 2017, he was a credit analyst at Macquarie Group, and before that an investment banker at GCA Savvian. Previously, he was an investment professional at The Gladstone Companies, focused on mezzanine debt and equity financings across the middle/lower middle market, and began his career as an investment banking analyst in the Leveraged Finance group at Banc of America Securities. Michael currently serves as a board director for Particle Dynamics and IXRF Systems, and as a board observer for Science & Medicine Group.

Michael earned a B.S. with Special Attainments in Commerce from Washington and Lee University, and holds an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
